Project Overview
Coming from a mechanical engineering background, I’ve always loved explaining tech. But this blog series challenged me to explain it not to fellow engineers—but to everyday readers who were curious about automation but intimidated by the jargon.
The client, a mid-sized automation solutions provider, wanted to position itself as a thought leader while making its technology more accessible. My goal was to create blog content that was informative, engaging, and easily digestible—even for someone without a technical background.
Each blog post in the series focused on one theme—like "What Is Industrial Automation?" or "The Future of Robots in Small Businesses." I used analogies, storytelling, and real-world examples to bring each topic to life. I also optimized the content for search by integrating long-tail keywords naturally, improving discoverability on Google.
To keep readers engaged, I incorporated visuals, subheadings, and callout boxes. I worked closely with the internal product team to ensure technical accuracy while maintaining simplicity in tone. The client saw a 40% increase in average time spent on the blog, and one of the posts was even shared by a regional tech magazine.
This project reaffirmed my belief that great writing isn’t about dumbing things down—it’s about meeting your reader where they are and guiding them forward.
